Refund policy

At ChicChoi, we truly appreciate every customer who chooses to support our small business. We aim to make your shopping experience smooth and enjoyable, and we hope this policy helps you understand how our return and refund process works. Thank you for taking the time to read it carefully.

Before Finalizing Your Purchase

Please take a moment to review your cart before completing your order. If an item was added in the wrong quantity or by mistake, this is the best time to make changes.
Once an order is submitted, removing items requires us to issue a refund—and our payment processors (credit card and PayPal) charge a 3%–4.4% refund fee that we are unable to reclaim. These fees may appear small, but they accumulate quickly for a small business like ours.

Before checkout, please also double-check that you’ve entered any discount, sale, or BOGO codes. Unfortunately, we cannot apply codes after a purchase is completed, and adjusting via refund results in the same processing fees mentioned above. If you are unsure where to enter a code, please pause and contact us first—we are always happy to guide you.

Our customer support team does its best to assist as quickly as possible, but we are not available 24/7. If you send us a message about modifying your order and complete checkout before hearing back, your order may be fulfilled before we can assist. If you notice an issue with your order, please reach out and wait for our reply before placing it.

Order Cancellation

We typically process orders within 1–2 business days, and in rare cases, it may take up to 3–4 days.
If you need to cancel your order, please contact us within 48 hours of purchase.
Once a package has been shipped, the order can no longer be canceled.

Exchanges or Returns (Personal Reasons)

If you wish to return an item due to personal reasons—such as change of mind, ordering the wrong item, or deciding you no longer want it—please contact us within 30 days of receiving your order. We cannot accept return requests made after this period.

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
  • Please arrange the return through your local courier to our return address in China.
  • Refunds will be processed after we receive and inspect the returned item.
  • Refunds include product cost only. Shipping fees are non-refundable, as they are paid directly to the logistics provider.
  • A 10% restocking fee will be deducted from the refunded amount.

We understand that sometimes customers change their minds. However, we kindly ask for your understanding that we cannot accept returns based solely on buyer’s remorse. Large online retailers may offer extremely flexible return policies, but small businesses like ChicChoi operate under different conditions. Thank you sincerely for your support and understanding.

Returns or Exchanges for Quality Issues

If your item arrives damaged or defective, or if you experience a quality-related issue, please contact our customer support team at infochicchoi@gmail.com. We will carefully review your situation and work with you to find the most appropriate solution.

Generally, we provide 30 days of after-sales support starting from the date your parcel is delivered. If a quality issue occurs within 30 days, we can arrange a replacement or discuss the best solution for your situation. However, please note that we cannot offer quality-related guarantees or services for issues reported after the 30-day window.

Please note that we cannot accept returns, exchanges, or refunds for slight variations in color or appearance. Actual product colors may vary due to lighting, display settings, production batch differences, and natural material variations. Photos are provided for general reference only.

Refunds

1. Refund Processing Time

  • Order cancellation refunds: processed within 24–72 hours.
  • Return refunds: processed within 24–72 hours after we receive and inspect the returned item.

2. Refund via Store Credit (with Bonus)

If you prefer, you may choose to receive your refund as store credit instead of returning it to your original payment method.
As a thank-you, we will add an extra 5% bonus to your store credit balance.
(For example, a $100 refund becomes $105 store credit.)
Store credit can be used on any future order, and 1 store credit = 1 USD.

3. Refund to Original Payment Method

If you choose a standard refund, the amount will be returned to the bank card or PayPal account used for your original payment.
